Well Conner is now 11 months old with 7 teeth and can take 6 steps and a fall to the behind. As we approach his 1rst birthday I have been busy with planning, working, and making sure I capture every big moment of Conner's after all he is our first born and our sweet little angel. He has been sick for the past few days and just wont get over whats going on so with this blog post there won't be a photo since little green monster are emerging (TMI right?) Ok anyways, I went to the doctor today and got a clean bill of health so I can start working out again and I am starting a journey to losing weight (again). So daily schedule will be feeding Conner, gym, feeding Conner, playing with Conner, and when Conner naps mommy makes sure she has house work done and then I work on editing photos for clients. By the end of the day there is dinner on the table and Matthew takes over Conner duty so I can work. We still haven't gotten the results from Corley's genetic testing all we know is that my Downs Syndrome test did come back positive and the doctor told me today her cyst was from her head down to her behind. We are taking things step by step and people ask if we will try again, this mommy needs a mental and physical break. After having two miscarriages and Conner all in one year its tiring and stressful to a women's body. Well I hope everyone has a great Tuesday and I will keep everything updated as much as possible.
God Bless!

One week later.....
Its been one week since I had Corley and I have a pretty good mindset on everything. I have a happy healthy and entertaining little 10 month old and a loving husband who cares so much for me and Conner.Well, Conner has been keeping me busy at night waking up crying because he has two teeth coming through at the same time (poor baby). I haven't been able to sleep the past two nights because I have spoiled him this week by putting him in bed with us and I am always scared Matt is going to roll over him or hit him. I just love snuggling with him its the best medicine for me.
So now that it has been a week since I gave birth the recovery isn't what it was when I had Conner. Cramps are like Contractions ( OUUUUCCCCHHH) they hurt so bad and no pain pill will help. All my pain pill do is make me itch like crazy. If I am in public people may think I have fleas (I don't by the way) but I never did this before with these meds but I guess the older I get the more I get weird side effects (this getting old thing is for the birds). Conner will be 1 next month and I have been getting prepared for his Birthday photo shoot and his party. It's almost like planning my wedding again. Life is flashing before my eyes Conner will be 1, My nephew Clay started Middle School, and Brandi went into 2nd grade makes me a little sad seeing them grow up so fast. Well I hope everyone had a great first week back to school and I hope everyone has a great year!

My little boy is defantly a little piggy! When it comes to food nothing is being turned down... But where does it go?????????
Mommy made some yummy Whole Grain Blue Berry Muffins! YUMM!
Sipping up Earth's Best baby food, usually good for babies 1 year and older but he took on to it like a champ! He knew how to suck on it so I was not worried one bit, it made for a happy mommy and a full baby boy!

Corley Grace
Giving birth to my daughter Corley was probably the hardest thing in the world with her being gone not hearing a cry or so much as seeing her. I didn’t want to remember her in pain and having all the deformities, I just wanted to remember her as an angel and at peace. Her heart was so unstable along with the rest of her organs but her heart will always be ours. Corley Grace Uhl was born August 11, 2011 weighing 6oz and she was 7in long. We have some memories of her the hospital made hand and foot prints in a sea shell and some other hospital items you get when you have a baby. I had such big plans for my sweet girl… Going to cheer practice with her, pageants, softball, or whatever she wanted to do. As the days go by I hug Conner tighter and tighter knowing he is ok and healthy makes me feel a lot better. We are truly blessed with this sweet boy who will be 1 next month, so hard to believe. Matthew and I are keeping our faith in God trusting everything he does and everything he has planned. Corley was sent to the Greenwood Genetic Center where she will be tested and they will also do an autopsy to tell us why everything went wrong. They will also bury her there and hang a plaque in her honor, Matthew and I will travel there once everything is finished to see her place of rest. Thank you to everyone who had prayed for our family non-stop and supported us please continue to pray for our family losing a child is something I thought we would never have to go through but its all in Gods plans. Here are the photos of Corley and the bubbles above her head is the Lymphatic Cyst that caused a lot of problems and you can see the bubble surrounding her is her skin that is swollen from her heart failure.
I will miss my Princess and I am looking forward to seeing her again.

Corley's Story
As a routine checkup I saw my physician for a ultra sound to determine the gender of our child. Unfortunately I left with more than just the knowledge we had some girl parts but little Corley has a mass on the back of her neck. So immediately my doctor was concerned and sent me to another doctor to get a second look with another ultra sound to see what was going on. The ultra sound technican scanned over my belly for at least 20 minutes examining Corley from head to toe. The longest examination was her heart. I immediately asked her if something was wrong with the heart and she said something I was not expecting… Ashley there is something wrong with the heart but there are also multiple defects I see with the baby. Fluid on the heart, lungs and brain. Also, a lymphatic cyst on the babies neck. Which usually means Trisomy 18. The doctor came in and shared with us the things we will need to do and what is going to happen with the baby. My heart broke into a millions pieces knowing my sweet baby girl is in so much trouble. My thought was its going to be ok, we have one healthy and beautiful child and whatever happens he is here and well. This Tuesday we will be going in for a amniocentesis so please pray for us and patience for we will have to wait 10 days to hear the results. Matthew and I can not thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and right now we do ask that you continue to pray for our family and the health of our child. I do have a praise report, Conner did take two steps. I am so thankful he is a healthy little boy and a happy one at that. May God bless you all and again thank you and we love you!

Well its been 4 months since I have blogged. Shame on me!
A lot has gone on with the Uhl Family in the past few months! We've moved into a new house..... Our nephew Jack was born and is doing wonderful, I have been booked with photography gigs every weekend since the move, Conner is moving around like he has to be some where at a certain time, and I'M EXPECTING! Wait what? New house NEW BABY! That's right! I have now 14 weeks pregnant with Baby Uhl #2 and feeling pretty hormonal and emotional and all the above! LOL, well I will have two in diapers and everyone always asks me if I am crazy (I ponder that question a lot) but Matthew and I also thought we were ready for another sweet baby. Obviously God thought so too! So here to go again! Conner is going to be a big Brother and a good one at that. I am sure he will teach the new baby a lot of things like how to climb the stairs (which he can do and I have a baby gate at the top and bottom). I really have my hands full with this little blue eyed boy. Conner has grown so much, he is now 19lbs and eats food from the table like veggies and some meats. I have given him a taste of potatoes and one sugary treat but this mommy will not do junk food! Conner loves freshly made juice out of the blender as a treat like mango or blue berrys mixed... Yummy! He is almost off the bottle just taking it once in the morning and at night time during the day its the sippy cup and he doesn't mind it at all. I don't and will not put a bottle in the bed with him because I hear it causes ear infections and knock on wood we have been really blessed because Conner hasn't ever had one!

Feeding himself like a big boy!
Already to go out and play!
