Matthew and I enjoyed a beautiful day at the pool with our family! Every year my side of the family puts together a one large birthday pool party for the kids in our family.

Me + Crochet = HOT MESS

Let the Crochet begin! OH dear what was I thinking? I went to Hobby Lobby and bough baby blue yarn and navy blue. My mom taught me how to crochet years ago... Well, I forgot so I have been looking on youtube trying to find out how to start this crazy blanket for my baby boy. I hope he loves it when its done because mommy's blood pressure is raising by the second trying to figure out how to do this stupid thing! Wish me luck and don't laugh I will show before and after photos of his baby blanket. Who knows I maybe good at it. Matthew walked in this afternoon and called me an old women because I had a needle and yarn in my lap. Get a visual on that! LOL, well wish me luck and say a little prayer for me!!!

Well hello Mr. Conner!

 
This is what Conner does before bed time. He loves to show off to mommy and daddy. This is either his rump or his head. But he is very playful at this stage! This is at 25 weeks and 4 days.

Beach weekend!

Matthew and I took a trip down to the beach with the Rikard Family. We had lots of fun in Ocean Lakes and can't wait for next year when we take Conner to the beach! He will just have a ball with his two cousins and family :-) I survived the heat and enjoyed the sand in between my toes. We are making our appointment with Wee See Imageing since it was canceled last weekend. We get to see our little doodle bug soon! Can't wait! Happy Father's Day!

Conner's News!

Baby Conner is kicking and squirming around in my belly! Matthew and I have bought a baby monitor to hear him with and boy oh boy is he active! But whats really funny is he will mess with his daddy and tease him by kicking me and when I tell Matthew to touch my belly Conner stops lol. He is a ham already! We have 108 more days to go and boy its been hot out side! 100 degrees with a heat index of 105! Ewwww. Please God let me be able to get some sun on my body before this summer is over and it gets any hotter. August is going to be so much fun! Yay! Presley has been very involved with the baby preparations! He even helped put the crib bedding together, then he decided to test it out to make sure it was good enough for Baby Conner!

Hot Hot Hot

I am so not looking forward to this summer humidity and heat! This is really a great excuse to go to the pool more often and float around like a whale or should I say Shamoo! BIG AND FAT! HAHA! So glad I have a pool! Its going to be one long hot summer! I can't wait to be able to teach Conner how to swim and to let him splash around in the pool next summer. If he is anything like my nieces and nephews he will be a swimmer in no time! While I am avoiding the summer heat, I am watching what I eat due to the wonderful diabetes that is something common in my family. Last week we had a little scare where my blood pressure dropped and it through our warning signs for me! Thank God my nephew Clay was present during all this to call my sister and 911. Yeah so I was in Subway grabbing lunch! What a great way to start our a lunch and not even get to eat it because you are stuck in a hospital.... Geeezzz! Matthew and I have been watching my diet really closely and he is also making sure I am walking at night to get my exercises! Well guys I hope you have a great weekend and stay cool drink lots of H2O! I know I will :)

6th Month Prenatal Visit

Matthew and I visited with Dr.Smithson today, which is always a fun trip! Our doctor never makes you feel uncomfortable. Baby is growing and everything is looking great! We will have more to update about baby Conner next month!

The start of Conner's Nursary!

  We are excited to start Conner's Nursary. His theme is Sail Boats how cute! He is a little sailor!

Matthew and I have been blessed with so many things in our life. We have wonderful family and friends who have supported us through out this pregnancy. After losing our first child we have gained more confidence and trust in the lord. These past few weeks doors have opened and shut in our life. We recently moved into a larger home and we found out the sex of our baby. We are over joyed by having a baby boy! I am now 22 weeks pregnant with a bouncy baby, I am starting to see Conner taking jumps and leaps in my belly. He loves to wake me up in the middle of the night and perform a gymnastic routine in my belly. Needless to say I am going to have a pretty active baby boy. We go visit with Dr. Smithson this Friday for my 6 month appointment, please keep us in your prayers that everything is going well with the baby and I. This is the appointment I have been dreading! Blood sugar exam here I come. On a more exciting we have had a lot of great things happening with our family. First Clay has been asked to play in the Gilbert All-Stars he has had such a wonderful season and now he gets to spend the summer with the best friends he could ask for! Brandi is finishing up Kindergarten and can now go under water and hold her breath! My sister Stephanie had her baby girl Erin on 5-23-10 she was 7lbs and 2on! Matthew's dad got his braces off!
