House Shopping

So from here on out until we are finished you will hear a lot about Matthew and I building a house and you will see photos of the home we are building! We have two homes we are stuck on and trying to decide which one we like and what the area can bring for us. Matthew and I are really pushing to stay in the Lexington 1 school area since its the best in the state. Where ever we go we want to make sure Conner gets the best education and has enough kids to play with in his neighborhood. Pray for Matthew and I as we make this decision!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! (Again)

Conner had his second snow and it was a pretty interesting one. My grandma always says, "If snow stays on the ground for more than two days its waiting for the next snow to come" well she was right. The day after Christmas snow stayed around for more than three days I can remember and now this one will last probably for a week since tempurature wont leave the 30's until Saturday and Sunday. We stayed with Tina, Rick, Clay and Brandi. We had a lot of fun, but it was super cold. Our apartment doesn't really hold electricty good sometimes and goes out when the wind blows hard lol. So I wanted to make sure Conner would stay warm being that they have a fire place in their house. Conner enjoyed himself he loves his Clay and Brandi!I hope everyone has stayed warm and had fun in the snow. I know I am tired of looking at it for more than 10 hours lol. I am good now I have had my snow fix for the year.... I shot some photos of Conner and the Snow in the town of Lexington. The pictures I did of Conner with him laying on his stomach I did inside the house at the window and used the snow and little bit of sun light that was out for his back drop. I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year and Happy 3 months to Conner!

Well the New Year is here and it is a blessing to be able to see a new year come. I was able to spend my New Years eve with my Husband and son. We shared this with church friends and their children also. I highly embarrassed my self while playing Just Dance 2 for the Wii... Yeah it was pretty funny! So Conner is now 3 months old and is now eating rice cereal at night before bed time. It really feels him up and he seems to enjoy it. At first he wasn't sure but once he found out it fills his little tummy up he was interested. For the past two weeks our house has been struggling with the cold. I took Conner to the Doctor the other day and he is taking antibiotics so hopefully he gets better soon. He weighed in at 12lbs at this visit!  It so fun to watch him grow and learn new things every day. Both Matthew and I read to him every day and spend lots of time playing and exercising with him. He is very interested in reading he likes to talk with you as you read to him. Such a smart little boy, we are truly blessed! Now for the New Years resolution, to lose my pregnancy weight. I only have 15lbs to go but it seems like that is a lot for me. So every day I am doing something active whether its Zumba or Cardio at the gym. I am also eating fresh fruits and veggies with Chicken or Fish. No more red meat! We are starting a new routine for Conner every day... He watches his Cartoons in the morning until around 9ish then we play/exercise, nap time is after that, then around noon he eats lunch, we play so more, read, tummy time, then afternoon nap, play, cook dinner, play, bath time, eat, read, and then its bed time! I am trying to keep him busy as well as myself during the day. When he naps I clean or do some laundry or catch up on here! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe New Years!
